Scott Rost

Member

Scott Rost is a Member of BMD's litigation practice group. He is a Florida Bar Board Certified Business Litigation lawyer who has represented clients for over 30 years in commercial and real estate litigation, residential and commercial real estate property and corporate transactions, and other business and personal legal concerns throughout the State of Florida. He is admitted to the state and federal courts and practices before administrative and arbitral bodies as well.

Scott always strives to put his clients' practical, business concerns and realistic goals first. He tailors his advice and representation to the unique needs of each client, believing that the practice of law is a personal service profession, a true calling and an art form, not an industry. Scott is also conversant in German.

Overview

Scott has focused on commercial and residential real estate transactions, land use, environmental and municipal representation practice areas within the Central Florida office of a national law firm. He also works in commercial litigation with an emphasis on business and financial disputes, construction litigation, collections, creditors’ and debtors’ rights.

He was self-employed in a partnership with numerous other lawyers in Central Florida and formed Scott R. Rost, P. A. in 1993, a partner with other professional service companies in private practice from offices in Orlando and Daytona Beach, FL, broadly practicing in commercial litigation, real estate and corporate practice, family law and governmental representation. His practice focused upon commercial and real estate litigation with a lesser emphasis on real estate and corporate transactions.
