Jordan A. Burdick
Attorney
Jordan is a healthcare attorney with experience advising clients on matters concerning state scope of practice and prescriptive authority laws, HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 compliance, and Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement. She routinely works with federally qualified health centers, medical providers, trade associations, child welfare providers, recovery home operators, and community behavioral health providers.

Overview
Jordan works closely with clients, developing a rapport with them that allows her to understand everyday clinical and compliance operations and provide practical solutions that will have longstanding and immediate impact. Jordan has a unique skillset assisting community behavioral health providers through CARF accreditation and reaccreditation and OMHAS certification and recertification. Jordan has also worked in the Compliance Department of a large certified community behavioral health agency. In that role, she has developed a practical knowledge of federal patient privacy laws and state Medicaid regulations affecting behavioral health providers and regularly advises clients on compliance with such regulations.
Prior to her admission into the Illinois and Ohio Bars, Jordan was a law clerk in BMD's Summer Associate Program and an extern for the BMD Columbus office for two years. Her hobbies include traveling, trying new restaurants.
