Bill Yang is a member working in Michigan and affiliated to BMD Cleveland office. Mr. Yang has extensive experience in advising international investment and international trade. He used to work as Trade Analyst at Italian Trade Commission (now ITA) - Italian government agency (2008), Foreign Investment and Foreign Affairs Advisor at Commission of Commerce, Tianjin China (2002-2007), and as Ocean Shipping Specialist at Mediterranean Shipping Company- MSC (2001). He has assisted over one hundred investors from the U.S., Japan, Korea and European countries invest in China mainland and Hong Kong.

Overview
Mr. Yang concentrates his practice in smart transportation supply chain, international merger and acquisition, business entities compliance and international business dispute resolutions. Mr. Yang is also working on our Smart Transportation team on supply chain contract, contract manufacturing, safety, vehicle homologation legal compliance, recalls, and product liability matters. Mr. Yang has extensive experience in international direct investment, joint ventures, manufacture/service outsourcing, international mergers and acquisitions, international tax planning, off-shore structuring, corporate governance, and international dispute resolution. During the pandemic, Mr. Yang together with other bankruptcy attorneys had represented over a dozen of creditors in several bankruptcy cases (both Chapter 7 and Chapter 11). Yang also worked as co-counsel for a Chapter 7 liquidation of an aircraft OEM.
