BMD Celebrates 25 Years of Excellence

[AKRON, OHIO – January 6, 2025] Brennan, Manna & Diamond (BMD) is proud to announce the celebration of its 25th anniversary in 2025.

BMD was founded on July 1, 2000, as a small firm focused on corporate transactions and health care law with a team of seven attorneys in downtown Akron, Ohio’s historic Carnegie Building at 75 East Market Street. Fast-forward 25 years, and BMD has grown into a dynamic, full-service business law firm with nearly 100 attorneys and over 100 staff members across 12 offices, including seven in Ohio, three in Florida, and additional locations in Arizona and Michigan.

Reflecting on BMD’s foundation and growth, it is important to note that four of the original seven attorneys remain with the firm today and are based in BMD’s Akron office, including co-founders Tony Manna and Jack Diamond, Member Lee Walko, and Member Matt Heinle, who also serves as President.

Housing issues dominated a legal clinic over the weekend in Akron's Middlebury neighborhood, with people seeking free help on how to handle everything from foreclosures to evictions. The clinic was organized by Community Legal Aid and included more than a dozen attorneys who volunteered their time to work with close to 70 people, mostly from Summit County.
