"Over 50% of the population in Franklin County are women, and in Central Ohio, one in four women are economically insecure. Those are just a few examples of why the Columbus Women’s Commission is focused on the issue of the gender pay gap and has launched The Columbus Commitment: Achieving Pay Equity." 

As part of the firm's commitment to diversity and equality, BMD has become an early adopter of the City of Columbus' "Pay Equity Pledge".  Daphne Kackloudis, a partner in our Columbus office, is one of the inaugural members of the Columbus Women's Commission and has been instrumental in helping to facilitate and find solutions for the issue of the pay equity issue.
