Insurance Coverage

BMD represents insurer clients from the initial notice of a claim through ultimate resolution. BMD’s attorneys have acted as coverage, evaluating, and monitoring counsel in hundreds of complex claims across various industries involving several different insurance products. In that capacity, BMD’s attorneys assist clients in making coverage determinations, drafting coverage correspondence, directing policy proceeds, monitoring and evaluating underlying claims, interfacing with defense and coverage counsel, participating in mediations, and facilitating settlements.  

Our team seeks to provide a thorough analysis of liability, exposure, and coverage at the outset to place BMD’s insurer clients in the best position to protect their and their insureds’ interests. We serve as legal counsel involving pre-suit, loss prevention matters, subrogation matters, and claims resolution proceedings, including mediation, arbitration, and litigation services.
