Healthcare Reform Compliance and Strategies

BMD provides a wide range of services concerning the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA), better known as healthcare reform. BMD counsels the following categories of clients with respect to healthcare reform compliance: private employers; public employers, including state colleges and universities; all types of healthcare providers; health plans; and health insurers. BMD has been appointed by the Ohio Attorney General as Special Counsel to various state employers to provide guidance and education on healthcare reform compliance.

In addition to compliance with ACA, BMD also assists in employer clients in exploring strategic options to not only comply with ACA, but also reduce costs and overhead associated with employer-sponsored plans. BMD also advises clients as to market trends and legislative and regulatory updates associated with ACA.
